Reading Towards Action
Informed by the writings of Paulo Freire, Reading Towards Action was kick-started in 2009 by reading Brian K. Murphy’s book Transforming Ourselves, Transforming the World: An Open Conspiracy for Social Change. By reading texts together in the conflict of interpretation, Reading Towards Action opens up a space for critical reflection and collective action on issues of personal and political concern.
Reading Towards Action is currently on hold while we support a new Regenerative Circle Reading Group. The group meets fortnightly in the A+E project space. To find out more please send an email to A+E.
Access to the A+E library is also available upon request. We have a good stock of art, climate, ecology, politics, philosophy, theology, and other relevant material.
